Calvin C. Hickman, of Bloomington, formerly of Florida, passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 at Garden Villa Nursing Home. He was 84 years old.
Born May 6, 1925 in Madison County, Alabama he was the son of Sam and Cora (Hover) Hickman. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a retired carpenter. He loved fishing.
Calvin is survived by two children, Teresa Gomez and her husband Steve of Bloomington and Shaun Hickman of Interlochen, FL; two sisters, Edna and Marie; four grandchildren, Shawn Gomez, Michael Gomez, Tim Gomez and Lindsey Klaiber; and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
No services are scheduled.
Memorial contributions may be made to Garden Villa Nursing Home, 1100 S. Curry Pike.
