Frances Fern Ratts, 91, of Bloomington passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Bloomington.  She was born in Georgetown, Illinois on September 3, 1919 the daughter of Arnold and Frances (Fay) Williamson, one of seven children.  She retired from RCA/GE of Bloomington after twenty-six years of service and was a member of Shiloh Temple. 

Frances is survived by her three sons; Larry (Patty) Ratts of Bloomington, Richard (Deanna) Ratts of Bloomington and Marvin (Penny) Ratts of Terre Haute, five daughters; Shirley (Jack) Reed of Bloomington, Martha "Janie" (Charles) May of Bloomington, Rosemary (Tom) Tarter of Vincennes, Patty (Mike) Brackett of Frankfort and Susan (Will) King of Springville, thirty-four grandchildren, sixty-nine great grandchildren and twenty great, great grandchildren.  She is also survived by one brother, Arnold Williamson, Jr. of Bedford, IN and one son-in-law, John Wampler of Indianapolis. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin F. Ratts in 1986, one daughter, Peggy Wampler, three sisters, Elizabeth, Estelle and Helen and two brothers, Paul and Edgar. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 16th at Shiloh Temple with Rev. Russell Elkins officiating.  Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.  Friends may call on Sunday at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old St. Rd. 37, Bloomington from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday one hour preceding the services.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenfuneralhome.org.
