            Ina F. Minton, 72, of Bloomington passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at I.U. Health-Bloomington.  She was born on June 6, 1939 in Bloomington the daughter of William W. and Cynthia (VanPelt) May.  A homemaker, she previously worked for the former Sarkes Tarzian Corp., RCA of Bloomington and the former Leonard's Lenin Service.  She attended the E. Miller Dr. Church of Jesus Christ.

            Ina was an avid bingo player and loved to play at Bloomington Amvets Post #2000.  She was always looking out for her children and grandchildren and was known as "Mean Momma" on her CB handle with her husband Jack.

           Her survivors include two daughters; Tammy Nowling and her husband Bill and Nanette Trinkle and her husband Charlie, all of Bloomington, her grandchildren; Jenny Porter, Cheyenne Nowling, Tommy Minton, Alisha Fender, Andrea Ball and Brian Minton, fourteen great grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Mary May of Bloomington.  Also surviving are her nephews Steve May, Jeff May, Tony May and William and close family friend, Regina Nagy.

            She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Minton in 1988, her son Billy Minton, three sisters; Ethel May, Stella Fleener and Violet Lucas and two brothers, Dasil May and Leonard May.

            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Juy 25, 2011 at Allen Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Stanger officiating.  Burial will be at Smithville Cemetery.  Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
