Michael L. Scott, 56, of Bloomington died early Friday morning at his residence. He was born on July 19, 1954 in Bloomington the son of Robert and Elsie Mae (Mary) Scott and was a graduate of Bloomington High School. He was a former manager with Steak-N-Shake restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed to fish.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Buchanan) Scott of Bloomington, one daughter, Elaine’ Allgood of Bloomington, two sons, Christopher Scott of Springville and Robert Scott of Bloomington, one step-daughter, Crystal Griffin of Eminence, six grandchildren; Courtney Scott, Lexie Scott, Tanner Scott, Cade Scott, Ashley Allgood and Chad Allgood, Jr. Also surviving are one brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Crissie Scott of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be calling hours with the family on Wednesday, August 18 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ, 1100 E. Miller Dr. in Bloomington. Friends and family are encouraged to come visit and share remembrances at this time. In respect of Robert’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation.
