Reva Mosier Wineinger, age 79, passed away Tuesday morning, August 9, 2011 at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital.  She was born on September 9, 1931 to Isaac and Ethel (Walker) Mosier in Kentucky.  Her family later moved to Bloomington.  She enjoyed watching the birds at her feeders, the flowers that grew around them, and the deer and other wildlife that wandered into her backyard.  She also liked to sing, especially the old country and gospel songs. When the musical instruments came out at family reunions, she'd be nearby singing along.  Family dinners were very special to her.  There didn't need to be a special occasion, just eating together was fine with her.  For those family members who lived out of town, their regular phone calls were something she looked forward to.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Winieinger, her parents, three brothers; Lester, Bronston (Bronk), Winston (Wink) and one sister; Ruby.

She is survived by two sons; Roger (Patty) Robertson of Smithville,  Kevin Robertson of Smithville, three daughters; Marcella (Mark) Deckard of Winter Haven, FL, Tammy Robertson of Bloomington, and Penni (Chris) LeMasters of San Diego, CA,; seven grandchildren, Mindy Deckard, Doug (Jessica) Deckard, Amy (Travis) Vanest, Matt (Melanie) Robertson, Derek Robertson, Charlie LeMasters, and Maddie LeMasters; one great grandson, Patrick Robertson; one sister, Winnie Bowlen; one brother, William (Cecily) Mosier and several nieces and nephews and their families.

Services will be, 11 am, Saturday August 13, 2011 at the Allen Funeral Home 4155 S. Old State Road 37 Bloomington, IN.  Visitation will take place Saturday from 10-11am prior to services. Burial will take place at the Salt Creek Cemetery.

Marcella, Roger, Tammy, Kevin and Penny, I am so sorry for your loss. Aunt Reva was a wonderful person and will be sadly missed by us all. Mom will be lost without her big sister. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Reva's children: You have my deepest sympathy on the loss of your beloved mother. She was my mother's (Roberta Hays) best friend, and they would spend hours talking and laughing on the phone, once visiting became difficult for both. We all loved Reva and her big, exuberant personality. She absolutely filled a room, or even outdoors, with her robust, loving presence. I know that she and Mother are able to talk for hours on end again, now that they are reunited spiritually. No doubt, all of you have many wonderful memories from such a wonderful person.
