William "Bill" Houston, 75, of Bloomington passed away August
13, 2012 at IU Health Bloomington. He was born August 1, 1937
in Bedford, IN to Fred and Ruth (Bunn) Houston. Bill was a US
Navy Veteran. In the Navy he was an aircraft electronics
technician. He later worked as a Technical Writer in
Electronics for 30 years at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in
Crane, IN. Bill also attended New Prospect Baptist Church in
Bloomington, IN
Survivors include his wife, Nancy (MacDonald) Houston of
Bloomington, IN, son, Jeff Houston of Costa Mesa, CA., daughter,
Jennifer Houston of Victorville, CA., brother, Donald Houston of
Bedford, IN., and sister, Delores Jenkins of Clear Water, FL.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Harold
Houston, and sister, Mildred May.
A Celebration of Life will be 1PM Thursday August 16, 2012
at Allen Funeral Home 4155 S. Old State Road 37 Bloomington,
IN. There will be a visitation from 11-1 prior to services on
Thursday.
Memorial Contributions can be made to charity of
choice.
